Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control I will no longer be offering temporary 30-day free patterns. Instead I will add a new pattern to my Ravelry.com shop every 30 days and include a FREE “sneak peak” on my website. Thank you for browsing my growing collection of permanent Free patterns, Video projects, and Tutorials at Granny’s Crochet Shoppe. Coming in November are a basic Christmas Stocking (with space for personalization) and a Winter Ensemble for 18-inch dolls, along with a new free project and tutorial.

These doll-size mermaid tails are fun to make and little girls love transforming their favorite 18-inch doll into a mermaid. Since adventurous mermaids love to explore, I usually make these using Red Heart Super Savor or some other brand of everyday yarn. Start crocheting some today for the little dolls in your life, before holiday gift-giving gets the best of you! Comment below and share pictures of your finished mermaid tails!!

Another free pattern has been tested and posted! These little washcloths are quick to crochet and make nice additions to baby and birthday gift bags or bridal shower favors.
