Scripture Tote

This is a FREE PATTERN for you to enjoy!
This pattern was made originally to fit scriptures published by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but you may easily adjust the dimensions to fit any size of book or scriptures. Pattern includes instructions for two tote sizes — Regular Quad Combination AND Compact Quad Combination.
This pattern is worked with 2 strands of yarn at one time, so you will need 2 skeins of yarn to make either size. However, two skeins of 236-yard Red Heart Super Saver Yarn in stripes or multi will be enough yarn to make one of each size tote as written. (Regular size takes approximately 126 – 136 yards, and Compact size takes approximately 90 – 100 yards.) Ombre yarn turns out looking great as well, but they are sold in a larger skein NOTE: Super Saver yarns are not created equal. Some of the colors come in thicker strands and may require more yardage to complete the project.
