Granny’s Cup/Mug Cozy

Granny’s Cup/Mug Cozy Pattern is also available as a YouTube Video — Click Here.

This is a FREE pattern for you to enjoy!

This pattern was designed to fit a standard 12-ounce mug, using cotton yarn and a G/4.00 mm hook. It may be adjusted to fit a slightly larger mug by increasing the hook size to H/5.00 mm and adding more rows, depending upon the shape of your mug. It is best to have the mug nearby that you want to cover with the cozy, so you can try it on for size as you make it.

Materials Needed:

  • Cotton Yarn such as Lily Sugar and Cream
  • G / 4.00 mm Crochet Hook (for smaller mug, approximately 12 ounces) or
  • H / 5.00 mm Crochet Hook (for larger mug, approximately 14 ounces)
